On May 12 2020, Markos Kovaios, Mayor of Paros, was asked about the situation on the island on the Greek private TV – Channel  'Open Beyond'. Here are his main statements :

Our island is ready. The engines have started. The health committee on our island received € 220,000 in donations to further expand the infrastructure in the medical center.

We would be happy to welcome the first guests back in early June. We have received very positive messages from abroad. The topic of season extension is also particularly interesting this year: the island of Paros is also wonderful in September, even in October you can spend a wonderful time here.
