The financing for the expansion of the new Paros Airport has been approved.

The implementation of the "Development and Improvement of the Infrastructure of the New Paros Airport" project was approved, thereby securing funding of 43 million Euros.

The project includes the following upgrade:

- Creation of a suitable infrastructure for aviation services (including construction of a new terminal with an area of ​​12,000m2)

- Expansion of the aircraft parking area

- Extension of the runway

- Construction of a new control tower and construction of a new fire station

- Creation of duty free shops, restaurants and office space
